Discover Rome aboard a hop-on/hop-off panoramic bus with plenty of stops across the city! Enjoy some guided walking tours to round off your visit!

Ideal for your first to Rome, the panoramic bus offers a 360° view of the streets of the Italian capital. Depending on the pass you choose, you'll have access to the Red line. Hop on and off the bus where and when you wish!

The bus will take you to the most popular sites including

  • Basilica of Saint Mary Major
  • The Colosseum
  • Piazza Venezia
  • The Vatican
  • Baths of Caracalla
  • Circus Maximus
  • And many more.... (for more details, see below)

If you choose the option, you'll also have access to a third line (the Black line). This option is great for exploring the city in the evening (you will not be able to hop on and off this bus during the tour).

You can also take advantage of 4 guided tours around the city! The first will teach you more about Piazza Barberini and the Piazza di Spagna. The second will take you to the Pantheon and the Piazza Navona. The third is best for exploring the Roman Forum and the Colosseum, and the fourth will take you through the Vatican and St. Peter''s Square.

At the time of booking, you will be asked to choose your ticket from the following options:

  • Discover Pass: 24 hours + walking tours using the VOX app
  • Essential Pass: 48 hours + walking tours using the VOX app
  • Explore Pass: 72h + walking tours with the VOX app + night-time visit from June to October

Buono a sapersi

Availability: every day (except in exceptional circumstances)

Red Line: 

  • Times and Frequency: every 10 to 15 min between 9 am and 5 pm (from November to March) and 6.30pm (from April to October)
  • Duration of the tour (without getting off the bus): 1 hour 30 mins

Walking audioguided tours (1 h): 

  • An audio guide is available in 7 languages
  • Duration: 45 to 70 minutes depending on the tour chosen
  • Availability: every day
  • Big Bus Tours Rome tickets are also valid for City Sightseeing Rome buses and Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi (ORP) buses.

You will be asked to select a tentative date during the reservation. However, please note that your exchange voucher will be valid up to 6 months after the selected date.

According to the pass you choose (24h, 48h, or 72h), you can activate it at any time of day and use it until the next day, the day after, or the day after that, respectively.

To begin your tour, head to one of the stops on the route and show your voucher to the bus driver. The itinerary may change without notice in case of roadworks or unforeseen circumstances.
